A tuna carpaccio is also delicious with hazelnut oil. Above all, however, sweet dishes such as parfaits, fruit salads, crêpes, cakes and pastries can be wonderfully refined with it.
Only the best hazelnuts from Piedmont (geographically protected indication of the EU) are used for the production of this oil specialty. The "Tonda Gentile delle Langhe" has been cultivated for centuries and has been traded under the "Nocciola Piemonte" quality seal since 1993. Due to its excellent quality, it is considered a special delicacy that is appreciated worldwide. The manual extraction of this completely natural, pure oil takes place with the punch press. In order to bring out the best taste of the nuts, they are gently 'toasted' before the pressing process.
