The Casanova Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP (250 ml) comes from the traditional balsamic production around Modena (Emilia-Romagna, Italy). Made from cooked grape must (Lambrusco & Trebbiano) and wine vinegar, it ages in wooden barrels (at least 2 months, often several years), giving it its characteristic dark brown color and syrupy consistency.
With an acidity of about 6%, and the IGP seal (protected geographical indication), it guarantees authentic origin and quality awareness.
This product comes from the range of FoodConnection, a provider specializing in exceptional food for fine dining since 2003, and is now also offered for ambitious home cooks.
About the manufacturer
Acetaia Leonardi is a traditional family manufacturer from Modena, the cradle of authentic balsamic vinegar. Since 1871, the Leonardi family has been producing fine vinegar specialties on their own estate according to traditional recipes and methods.
From the grape harvest to the final bottling of the products, every step is in the hands of the family itself. The operation encompasses around 10 hectares of vineyards and a historic farm where aging takes place in small, carefully selected wooden barrels – often over years or decades.
Leonardi consistently focuses on the highest quality, natural aging, and sustainable production.
