Description Yuzu chocolate
At the Georgia Ramon creation Yuzu chocolate it is a fine dry one Dark chocolate with 70% cocoa content combined with the Japanese yuzu citrus fruit. The cocoa Rio Caribe comes from Dominican Republic and is one of the Trinitario varieties. The cocoa was refined with fruit powder from Japanese yuzu, a very aromatic citrus fruit. The taste of the yuzu lies between lemon and tangerine and is very pronounced.
The yuzu chocolate is gluten free and vegan.
Georgia Ramon was founded in spring 2015 by Georg Bernardini and Ramona Gustmann in the Oberkassel district of Bonn. Georg Bernardini co-founded the well-known chocolate company Coppeneur. He is also the author of the book: Chocolate - the standard work.
Since November 1, 2020, Phillip Butzmann has been the new owner of Georgia Ramon.
Phillip Butzmann is a trained pastry chef, has successfully completed his training as a chocolatier in Solingen and will soon be completing his studies in food technology.
